Most important tools
- Large knife
The large knife is razor-sharp and has a cutting surface of at least 6 cm. Once unfolded there is absolutely no leeway. As such it is perfect for the heavy-duty tasks. When opening and closing the knife you will hear the familiar click.
- Wood saw
Branches the size of your wrist are a piece of cake for this thin wood saw. The spine is approximately 1.2 mm thick and the serrations about 1.6 mm thick. Because the spine is slimmer than the serrations the saw won’t get stuck in the wood, limiting friction. In addition to living wood this saw can easily saw through pallets and wooden boards.
- Reamer
What do you use a reamer for? For all tasks you should never use the tip of your blade for! The reamer has a single ground (it has been sharpened on one side only). As such it is perfect to highlight something on wood. Which side of the line should you adhere to when you outline something with a pencil? With a reamer this is no longer an issue.
